We serve Breakfast and Dinner here at The Old Rectory. Or there are plenty of other places to enjoy an evening meal
Even if you stayed at The Old Rectory for a week, you could try a different cooked breakfast every single morning.
Let's start with the Full Cornish - large sausage made with our own free range pork mince, dry cured Cornish bacon and Hog's Pudding, our fresh free range eggs, mushrooms and home-grown tomatoes, peppers and courgettes (in season).
We offer 4 types of locally smoked fish, including salmon, kipper and local trout and mackerel. Enjoy with your choice of eggs and vegetables.
For a lighter breakfast why not try the Cornish Rarebit - our local extra mature cheddar, mixed with egg and served on toast. Or French Toast, served savoury with Cornish bacon, or sweet honey and cinnamon.
On the side, you can help yourself to fruit juices, cereals, home-grown fresh or compote fruit, organic local natural yoghurt and brown and white bread to make toast just the way you like it.
We realise you're on holiday so we leave a complimentary newspaper of your choice outside your bedroom at 7:45am, and usually serve breakfasts from 8:30-10am. Sally is on hand to recommend top spots to visit so you make the most of your time here.
After a busy day exploring Cornwall, why not save yourself another outing and unwind with an evening meal in our restored Victorian Greenhouse.

With no more than eight diners, you can enjoy a relaxing meal, accompanied with your own drinks (no corkage charged) with views over the garden.
Our menu changes everyday and features the freshest produce. We serve delicious Cornish fish from our local fishmonger without the expensive price tag! Try our own free-range rare-breed pork or savour our local lamb or beef rump steak fattened on some of the best grass in the country. Vegetarians, vegans and special diets are also catered for.
All meals are accompanied with freshly dug potatoes and freshly plucked vegetables from our walled kitchen garden. Here we talk food metres, not miles, and from plant to plate in less than 2 hours you can't get much fresher than that. Menus change with the seasons but with over 60 varieties you shall not be disappointed!
Our desserts are pretty fruity, why not try spiced poached peaches, blackberry and apple crumble, gooseberry cheesecake or pear eve's pudding. We can supply home-grown fruit desserts all year round. Be sure to top it all off with a good dollop of organic Cornish Clotted Cream!
